Methodology of Integrated Production of Aronia

The State Plant Health and Seed Inspection Service (PIORiN) approved and published the Methodology of Integrated Production of Chokeberry, which was developed by the Institute of Horticulture in Skierniewice.

The study provides detailed guidelines on how plan and start chokeberry plantations, including fertilization, weed control, daily care and protection against diseases and pests, as well as the terms and conditions which must be met to obtain an Integrated Chokeberry Production Certificate.

The main condition for obtaining an IP certificate is compliance with the methodology approved by the Head of the State Plant Health and Seed Inspection Service and successful completion of a training in integrated production.
